I recently bought the RUTNRIXA 500W inverter (though they also make a 1000W version) for a very specific reason. I needed to run an oxygen concentrator for my mom during a long car ride from North Carolina to Massachusetts. It was critical that the inverter provide constant power for her medical device.

I hooked the inverter up directly to my car’s battery using thick cables (8 gauge) to ensure it could handle the power draw. The drive took about 18 hours, and to my relief, the RUTNRIXA performed flawlessly. There weren’t any even brief interruptions in the power supply, which is exactly what I needed. Thanks to the reliable power from this inverter, my mom had a safe and comfortable journey.
