I just got myself the EWANYO 3-speed drill press for all my little DIY projects. It’s perfect for fiddly things like jewelry making and delicate woodworking. It even came with a spare belt and some extra brushes, which is a nice touch!
The only thing that threw me for a loop at first was the speed settings. The info sheet says it goes from 0-8000 RPM, but that wasn’t quite right. The slowest setting seemed way too fast for what I needed. Luckily, I found some helpful advice online! There’s a tiny adjustment screw you can tweak inside the machine. It took some fiddling, but I finally got the slowest speed down to a much more manageable pace. It might have just been a quirk with mine, but it’s worth checking if you find the speeds a bit too high. Even with this hurdle, I’m happy with the drill press so far. It seems well-built, the chuck feels sturdy, and with the adjusted speeds, I should be able to tackle all my crafting needs! Read more…
