A way to feed wood along a drill press at small increments?

Posted by – February 19, 2011

I need to drill holes in a wood cylinder at a spacing of 5mm apart. I have a drill press but I can’t figure a way to move the piece along so that the holes are evenly spaced. I’m thinking some sort of conveyor belt for the feed but is there any mechanism that will allow the piece to be progressed along the press in tiny increments?
