I need to drill holes in a wood cylinder at a spacing of 5mm apart. I have a drill press but I can’t figure a way to move the piece along so that the holes are evenly spaced. I’m thinking some sort of conveyor belt for the feed but is there any mechanism that will allow the piece to be progressed along the press in tiny increments?
David Termini’s Homemade Wood turning Tool is shown here simply made from 36 inches of galvanized pipe two set screws and a piece of carbon steel broken out from a old craftsman tool. This is a wonderful tool for all kinds of turning especially for beginners.
